Community sources of law
The most comprehensive community source of law which can connected to the project is the Transport White Book, which specifically deals with the importance of rail transport, more significant with the need to make it important and with the connected community purposes and measures. The White Book points out that rail travel within the community - in particular the carriage of goods - should be made competitive in order to ensure that utilization and utilization of up other transport modes. This purpose is given by the safety of rail freight traffic and speed and the growing importance of intermodality as well. It is important to emphasize according to the project that in the European Union's transport policy is bold underlied the problem that the difference between the railway gauges is one of the biggest obstasclesof the decelopment of a coherent and efficient European rail network. This project contributes to the purposes of the EU's transport policy objectives that is written in the White Book and with the practical building of the rail (road) infrastructure.
